Conversation Starters

Wow, what a year of conversation topics we have had!
Some of them we may want to avoid at our holiday gatherings.

These easy prompts may help you have some conversation starters in your pocket that can lead to meaningful dialogue with those you love.

When we keep our intentions toward connecting with someone, rather than trying to correct their thinking, we connect more deeply. Remember that our relationships with loved ones are more important than someone being right about something. They will listen to you when they feel loved and safe. If they feel under attack, their brains cannot receive your opinion or contribution. Start with establishing love and respect first. These prompts may help.

This Thanksgiving, I am feeling especially thankful for you. You open my email each week. You take the time to read it. And, you go out into the world with more love. Thank you for doing this important work. Thank you for walking with me through life.

Sending you love and gratitude,
