Your Loves

I was in the ocean recently, and told my husband, "I forgot how much I love the ocean!"

Then I was with a friend who always makes me laugh, and on the drive home, I thought to myself, "I love my time with her!"

Yesterday, I picked up a new book by an author I have followed for years and thought, "I love the way she writes."

This started me thinking about the things I love.

What do you love?

Is it that chair on your porch?

Is it when you see a cardinal and think of someone in heaven?

Is it that certain chocolate cake?

Is it sunsets?

Or being near water?

Or the mountains?

Is it a certain breed of dog?

Or a brand of jeans?

Is it laughing until your tummy hurts?

Is it planting flowers?

Is it a flavored coffee or tea?

Is it dancing when no one is home?

Or clean sheets on your bed?

What do you love?

Make a list today on your phone notes app or on a blank page in your calendar. Keep adding to it when you think of something new.

What you love is part of who you are. This is the essence of you.

Making a list of what you love helps you remember who you are. We feel more fully alive when we love something.

Do more of what you love. On a tough day, go to your list and remember your loves.

You are on my list.

Sending you my love,
