Compassion means “to suffer with.”

When we open our hearts and minds to the pain of others, we experience connection, love, peace and joy in helping.

Self-compassion is the practice of showing this same compassion to our own pain and suffering.

Compassion is an art and a practice.

The more we practice compassion, the more natural it becomes, and the sooner your transformation into being the best version of yourself begins.

I discovered the research and teachings of Kristin Neff and Chris Germer while I was in seminary. I was writing a sermon on the unconditional love of God, when I realized I had embedded programming that I was never good enough. I started looking into psychological research about where our thinking becomes self-critical and found over 17 years of research had been done on the power of self-compassion.

I was compelled instantly and realized how deeply I needed a mindset shift. I started preaching about it, conducting workshops on self-worth, and seeing clients for spiritual direction.

And now, I want to share it with you!
